As 2017 heads to an end and you begin to think back on the year, what moment or moments can you recall as highlights? Personal achievements? The faces of friends, of loved ones and time spent?

BBC One made a sweet short film about ‘sharing a moment’. It shows a father who on many occasions is unable to give his daughter his attention due to work responsibilities but is able to support and be there for her at a really important moment.

We’re all busy and we all wish we had more time to do more things. There are still many days left to 2017 to let those important people in your life know how much they mean to you and create some special moments together.

With all the busy-ness involved in end-of-year celebrations, take your own moment to notice and appreciate just how liked and loved you are and let others know how much you like and love them too. You may not get time to see everyone as much as you’d like, but a call, email, card/e-card or even a plan to meet up in the new year can keep those bonds going.
